Most cats groom themselves and would rather you did not help. These are the tools that work around that: wall-mounted self-grooming brushes, no-rinse sprays, tear-stain wipes and combs that get through a long coat without pulling. Long-haired cats still need brushing to prevent mats — that part cannot be delegated to the cat.
